Bike Project Hub

Wanted: Any old bike! To help refugees and asylum seekers

The church is becoming a collection point for a charity called The Bike Project (www.thebikeproject.co.uk).
They take old adult and children’s bicycles and trainer bikes in any condition. Most they refurbish and give to those register as asylum seekers and refugees. The very best they sell to raise funds and the very worst are recycled as scrap. As little as possible is wasted. Look at the web site for stories of how a bicycle can bring freedom.

If you have a bike to give, please don’t just bring it to church. Contact Nigel Brook at Nigel.Brook12@icloud.com or telephone 07986258087 to arrange an appointment time. That is all it takes to clear out your old bikes.
