The Memorial Church is an imposing local landmark, one of the few historic buildings in the London Borough of Newham. As the photo above, of a poster on the leaded glass door of the South hall shows, it's also used to try and meet the needs of local people - in this case those who are homeless.
Alongside the church has a two-storey hall, the Swift Centre. Both are used by the church and other groups to provide a range of community activities for people of all ages and backgrounds.
